Melomania Wireless Headphones Review
The app lets you configure and customize your Melomania wireless headphones.
Cambridge Audio’s latest true wireless earbuds are a great choice for those who want the best quality music on the go, and they come with a handy mobile application that gives you control over the EQ settings. You can adjust the treble, bass and midrange frequencies manually, or use a number of presets that you can save for future use.
These in-ears have a rather warm, full sound that works well for a wide range of genres, including modern pop, rock and classical music. It also has a decent amount of detail for its size, with vocals and lead instruments clearly defined and well-defined bass notes.
The sound is quite directional, with the midrange and treble particularly well-defined, but they can lose a little detail around the bass end. Despite this, they’re a great choice for those who want a solid sound for their earbuds, with enough depth to be immersive but not too overpowering or lacking in accuracy and detail.
They’re very comfortable and come with a variety of different ear tips, and the controls on each bud are designed to fit your ear shape, pushing the buds in further to ensure the right seal. They’re fairly lightweight and compact, so you can keep them in your pocket without too much trouble, though the buds do put pressure on smaller ear canals.
The charging case is also a bit of an upgrade, with a matte finish and five LEDs on the front to let you know how much battery life you have left. This is a really nice feature that’s rare to find on true wireless earbuds.
